![]() So after some body trimming, the new tires/wheels cleared the body at all angles. These heavenly pieces of art only have, what was it,? 5 screws per wheel? AND supeerrrr clean looking with them on the inside of the wheels! I also LOVE THE MOSSSST, THE ***SIMPLE/doesnt take 3 hours fumbling tiny screws with hand tools for a total of like, 492 of em per 4-set. but i also own these wheels, and recently threw roklox on em, and put them on my E24, and can say i REALLLLLY-really love the look on the truck! But, im really just here to agree with the impressiveness in both quality/machining, as well as appearance and shipping time & ease-of assembly!!! The RC4wd stamped steel wheels are THE most infuriating assembly since Jesus, farted.in Samson's nose, or whatever. I wanted to do it to log changes mostly, as well as keep tabs on part mfg/names/part #'s. In fact, my SCX24 Betty makes the trail"walker" look super bad, even box stock! Just MPO. Was gonna do a "build thread" (one day) with my Enduro24 TRunner, but quickly found the lack of aftermarket.well, depressing, honestly, as the truck is totally NOT impressive to me out of the box. ![]() Think I am going to order up some brass hexes, and bearing to replace the bushings. Also widens it up quite a bit, so that should help. I will have to do a little body trimming for clearance, but I expected that. The RC4WD tires mounted perfectly, almost like these wheels were made just for them. I am pretty impressed with the quality, machining and anodizing was very good. Just got in the little beadlocks from Amazon. They are about $2 more per pair and have brass rings. Gotta strategically place the front, so as not to inhibit articulation, etc.right now some BangRCGear aluminum beadlocks which i LOVE! With rc4wd roklox tires (small as heck)įor what it's worth, I got the SSD 1.0 slot mags for the SuCX24. Lol! Stick on automotive wheel weight -1 piece (.25oz) on top rear pumpkin, one on front. i also heat&bent lower suspension links to help clearance.amazon chinesium brass wheel-hex-drum-brakr-lookin-thingys. (1/4 from top, 1/4 from bottom of spring). I ended up pulling all four springs and trying my best to stretch them all equally from two different places. I don't know about you but my TRunner had a nasty front rightish sag from the box. I know it is only a $100 all in rig, and I can't expect high end performance, but. The biggest annoyance is how loose the link/rod ends are on the balls, could be a lot tighter especially in the steering links. ![]() I know the brass hexes and wheel weights will cross over from the SCX. I did get in a set of RC4WD tires, and waiting on the cheap Amazon aluminum beadlocks, hoping the larger stickier tires will help. Not much out there yet for the little Enduro as far as upgrades yet. There are a couple things I like better than the SCX24, but the SCX seems to be a smidgen better performer.
